We are
sustainable

César Nieto has adopted environmental control policies
We have generated a feedback loop for the surrounding environment through our livestock activity. Through our production cycle, we are able to accurately calibrate the balance between the natural resources consumed and generated by our animals.

Commitment to
the environment

At César Nieto, we have been fighting to preserve
the natural environment for many years
We ensure that our employees and providers take responsibility for preserving the environment, we prevent pollution and we use natural resources rationally.

SDGs

Objectives of
sustainable development
We are committed to the sustainable development goals defined by the UN, developing a package of measures for responsible production and consumption that promote economic growth, the elimination of hunger and environmental sustainability. Circular economy
economy

César Nieto helps to develop
the surrounding rural area.
Our industry actively supports the region. By working with local providers and generating employment in an area bereft of resources, we are helping to revitalise rural communities. We are also popular with tourists, attracting visitors in search of authentic Iberian pork.

Animal
welfare

Free-range pigs
Our pigs roam freely on our country estates, in optimal conditions and in compliance with the highest European standards on animal welfare. We adhere to the National Plan to Prevent Antibiotic Resistance (PRAN), which preventively prohibits the use of drugs. We are committed to always using veterinary techniques that are geared towards the good practices of animal handling, hygiene and feeding.
