Our family always united with Guijuelo

For decades, the Nieto family has been dedicated to transmitting the essence of our land, a paradise of oak forests and wetlands in the foothills of the Salamanca mountains. A privileged environment that provides our iberian products with unique flavors and aromas.

Five
generations

The history of César Nieto goes back five family generations, a path of constant innovation from 1895 to the present day.
1895
ILDEFONSO NIETO
Cattle dealer and one of the pioneers in the Iberian pork industry in Guijuelo.
1943
ALONSO NIETO
Alonso Nieto establishes the trading company of the Iberian pig.
1967
CÉSAR NIETO
César Nieto Martin takes over the company to which he now gives his name.
1980
FIRST INSTALLATIONS
The first facilities are created in the center of Guijuelo.
1985
OWN SLAUGHTERHOUSE
The most important Iberian pork slaughterhouse in Spain is built together with other industrialists.
1986
GUIJUELO D.O.
César Nieto and other businessmen from the area founded the Guijuelo D.O.
1987
FOURTH GENERATION
César Nieto's sons, Jorge and César, take over the company.
2001
Los Linares
Acquisition of the Los Linares farm for total control of the production process.
2008
NEW FACILITIES
Inauguration of the new technological facilities in Guijuelo.
2010
IBERFRES
Birth of Iberfres, an exclusive brand of fresh Iberian pork.
2013
INTERNATIONALIZATION
International expansion begins, a fundamental pillar of the company.
2019
NEW DIGITAL FACTORY
3000m2 of fully digitized factory.
2021
THE ENCINILLAS
Acquisition of a new farm to expand the production of our field fattening.
2022
NEW WEBSITE
New corporate website and online store. Dedicated space for professionals and consumers.

New mother farm to reinforce the genetics of our Iberian pigs.

Digitized factories with state-of-the-art machinery for all our processes.
5000 m2 of natural cellars where we cure our hams in a 100% natural way.
Modern offices from which our professionals provide personalized advice.

Our
farms

The products elaborated by César Nieto Group S.L. come in great part from the pigs raised in our farm Los Linares. Located in the south of the province of Salamanca, it provides a privileged environment for Iberian pigs.
From this farm in the province of Badajoz we carry out a genetic control of our pigs, which means a constant improvement in the quality of our products.
An ideal natural area for the breeding of pigs in freedom, this farm in the south of Salamanca represents a great extension of our Iberian pig herd.
